Put in bank account information to have my donations withdrawn to the bank account. ... I have a GoFundMe campaign started for my dog Misha. It is titled Help Misha Mae walk again. I do not have a bank account so my girlfriend was willing to use her bank account and information to put in so the money could be withdrawn into her account for me. After I got The Campaign started and people began to donate my girlfriend tried to enter her banking information. She tried two different times and both times it came up and said... Oops there's a problem sorry please contact us. I have emailed them from the email I created for the GoFundMe account and got a generic message back saying that they will get back with me soon. It has been two days!! And now when we go into the campaign page and go to withdraw it sends a unique code to the phone number on file, which you then have to enter for security purposes to get to the next page. Aftwr doing that the next page gives an option to view beneficiary overview. This is the only option it gives to click on anything. It also has some terms at the bottom about what happens if you dont set up a withdrawl account within ** and ** days. When you click on that, it has four circles that can be checked off. The first says beneficiary set, the second says invitation sent, the third says invitation accepted, and the fourth says money withdrawn. The first three are all checked with a little note beside each. The first being my girlfriend's name and email address to confirm that she's the beneficiary, the second saying sent to my girlfriends email address. The third says my girlfriend's name and that she has accepted their invitation. But the fourth circle that is not checked says my girlfriend's name and that she has not withdrawn. Now there is nothing to click on that page so all you can do is go back to the page before. And there is no page to edit or change or do anything with the bank account information. So I don't know if it went through or if it did not go through!! Especially because that last box is not checked confirming that she has withdrawn anything. I cannot get ahold of anyone by email to even answer me to know how to figure this out. I need to know if her information was accepted and if so how do I withdraw the money and have it sent to her account. Or where a page is to edit or change the method because they also apparently have an option to put your money on a prepaid debit card, which I could get no problem anytime. But there is no where to find the information to choose that. Please help because I have been blessed to have people donating already and I need to withdraw some money out for my dog's vet appointment approaching rapidly. I would like Go Fund Me to address this issue by answering my emails with a real person instead of a generic generated response. And I would like Go Fund Me to offer a phone number so I can talk to someone that could walk me through the issue and troubleshoot the problem. Go Find Me should be concerned because it involves them getting paid as well. Because if there is no withdrawal account set up within ** days, then all donations are refunded!! It affects them making money as well! Because if this is not resolved then all donations will be refunded. Also if this is not resolved, I am personally going to have this all over the news in Knoxville, Tennessee and on every social network platform available. I did everything they said to set up the campaign for my dog, to help her walk again, and I am actually getting donations from my friends and family. So if this is not resolved soon, everyone in the states of Tennessee and North Carolina will know about this, who knows how far it will go from there, and I will contact the family attorney to see what can be done. I do not have the money to help my dog and that is why I created the GoFundMe page and people love a good, heartfelt animal story. And rally together against any company or persons that are impeding progress or lying about services that are meant to help animals and also people!!
Having a real person call me and walk me through what to do as I have all the account information in front of me. Or at least have a real person email me back and start a real time dialogue if there is no phone. (No phone, have you ever heard of a company with no phone?)
This is my first experience with GoFundMe. But from what I read, it was the easiest platform to use and could be shared very easily. And also that you could withdraw your donations at anytime. This was great because my dog may need money for vet bills before my goal was reached. But it has been so difficult when it comes to the setting up the withdrawal account information. And then to not have a telephone number so you can get help in real time is absurd. But I went through the steps of sending the email and waiting for the response. And now after almost * days they have not responded to my issue. But they have sent plenty of generated emails to me about how to raise more money. Huh, that's a little odd right? All I want is to have the bank account put in so I can start withdrawing the donations that were sent for my dog.
I spent * hours on the site looking for some way to find where I can add, change or edit any banking information. And no luck at all!!
