I demand a refund of my $** Gamestop giftcard. Yesterday, I ordered a game that I decided within a few hours I did not want. Order * *****************Upon calling Gamestop customer service, I was told there was a wait, so I left a call back number. After four hours of no callback, I decided to call again. This time, I stayed on hold for an hour and a half, but then decided to leave a callback number once again. Around * hours later, I received a callback, and I thought, "Oh good! Finally!" Instead, I was told I was "top *" in line, and I was again placed on hold. After another hour of waiting I decided, "***** this, it's **:** PM, I am going to bed." I called the following morning (Today, November **th) and I only had to wait for ** minutes(new record!) and I was told I can cancel my order and still get my giftcard money back. I was also informed I could cancel it online. I hang up, and realize that Gamestop.com won't let me cancel the order as a guest and I AGAIN needed to call. So after an hour and ** minutes, I finally got through to someone, and I was informed that I cannot cancel my order because it had shipped WITHIN the time I was on hold. Now I am getting a game I do not need and I have spent a giftcard that I planned on using on something else. I would have willingly paid $** to not have to deal with the * hours ** minutes and ** seconds of waiting, BUT I have no way of going back in time and telling myself how awful that experience would be. To clarify, the employees I talked to were very nice, so they are not at fault. Gamestop itself is at fault because you advertise cancellation before it ships, but you don't mention that you need to weave through nearly * hours of headaches that come with waiting on the phone when you could be doing other things such as not being on the phone for * hours. Please, for the love of Thalos, I would just love to have my $** back. I did everything I possibly could and followed your own guidelines perfectly. I have not done anything wrong on my end, and I just want my $**.
