Good morning, *I'm currently not a First Direct customer but, I hope to be in the near future?*Can you please help me with a few questions? *I'm currently a Santander Current Acc customer, I now want to switch banks because of Santander's appalling customer service! *I'm a UK Citizen (pensioner), I Iive in Thailand part of the year (UK winter's are too cold), I rely on online banking for my financial needs. *Santander supply me with a cheque book etc, if I switched, would FD supply me with a cheque book? *Does FD operate a 'One Time Passcode' via a mobile text - if I have to send money online from my current location (Thailand) to a recipient back in the UK - I have problems with Santander because I use a local Thai mob SIM and I'm having security issues with Santander because of this and their OTP security etc, to try and sort this issue out - I have to make expensive mob phone calls from here only to be put-on-hold, I then have to listen to music that I do not like, when I do eventually speak to a human, they take through all the security stuff etc. If I do switch to FD, is it better for me to wait until I'm back home in the UK with a UK mob number?*Lastly, would FD charge me a fee if I used their ATM Card outside of the UK, also, does FD charge a monthly fee for using their current account banking system?**Thank you for taking time to read my message.*Have a good day.**Kind regards,*Joe Robertson
