The issue in GetHuman-buttonbo's own words
I attempted to sign in to my Facebook account from a different device & I got the page that said do a security check. When attempting to enter my birthdate, I must have hit something I shouldn’t have & since I don’t have a phone number attached to the account & I don’t have a friend listed to send a code to, I have no other way of verifying that it is indeed my account. I also got the email notifying me that someone was attempting to access my account, but I also accidentally hit the blue link that said secure your account & blindly did not see the part in bold print, that said “IF YOU DIDN’T DO THIS”. All I saw at the time was “secure your account”. Now when I attempt to login, I get a screen saying they can’t verify my identity & it doesn’t give me any option of attempting to access it with my birthdate now. I have access to the email account that I set it up with & I’m getting the codes to change my password, but I still can’t get into it. How else can I possibly access my own account to let Facebook know that it has been me, attempting to access my own account this whole time? Please, please, help!!!
