I am writing to complain about how the resolution team handled my appeal case with regards to the “Boost” function which was disabled on my advertiser account. *My advertiser account number was ********. It appears it was because I once had a page which was related to public information about crypto currency trends. This was not selling anything, but only promoting market trends… However this is no longer the case and I have removed that completely. The new policy against this activity was imposed by facebook after it was already launched.*Had I known it was against FB policy, I would not have had that posted. This came without due warning.*I recently made a second formal request for this restriction to be lifted since this issue is no longer the case and again this was denied without a valid reason. The response was the same as before with no explanation. This is action is very disappointing and is now along the lines of commercial discrimination. If in the future it affects my ability to advertise a legitimate business without proper cause, this may result in my company reporting to ASIC as this would be deemed unfair and the Government will not take this lightly. *If there is anything which is considered against the policy in any of my pages, I would request that I be informed promptly, otherwise I will have no choice but to make a formal complaint to ASIC regarding this on grounds of commercial disadvantage.
I trust that Facebook will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
