You can also dispute a charge through the app. Once logged in, look up your ride under Your Trips, select the ride that you wish to dispute, then click "I would like a refund" and then select the reason for the refund request.
The issue in GetHuman-linekean's own words
booking confirmation nr **************we booked the hotel and received confirmation that the booking is complete. When we arrived at the hotel the host told us there was a overbooking and he paid you ** Euros to rebook. We where not informed about this and no attempt was made to get any message to us. It took more than * hours to sort this out. It took more than * hours from the host, we had to use his WiFi and he had to help us find a new place as the person on the telephone from Expedia booked us into places more than ** km from where we were. It was very frustrating that the host had to pay ** euros and had to do all the work himself plus he had to advise us on the fact that the places that where offered where very far. It was very frustrating that our evening was spoiled. We could have booked in by * in the afternoon and could have enjoyed a swim and calm evening but could not do anything because we first wanted to sort out the problem with no sleeping place. The hotel that we where booked in was definitely not our choice as it was noisy and not very clean. Why could we receive confirmation that our booking was made and no information that things changed? *Can we please be compensated for the inconvenience. The host paid compensation to Expedia but we landed up in a cheaper hotel?*Can the host please be refunded as he did all the work to get us rebooked. We used his phone and WiFi as our phone is from Africa and it would have been terrible expensive to try and sort it out on our own phones
