The issue in GetHuman-nhmassag's own words
I recently purchased an airline ticket through expedia on Aug **,**** on American Airlines for a flight leaving Wilmington Airport in North Carolina on Tues. Sept. **, ****. I cannot return to the Wilmington area to be at the airport on that date (tomorrow) due to flooding of US highway ** and US highway **. I explained this to an expedia rep who told me I have to try to get a refund through the airline. American Airlines says I need to find help through expedia since I bought the ticket through their website. so, basically I getting no assistance with this issue from anyone! Am I just out of luck on the issue of getting a refund because I am not allowed to travel to the airport where my flight originates? If that is the case then I will no longer use expedia and American Airlines in the future. Once I do this I never go back unless it is made right. Just ask ATT and United Airlines (both incredibly poor at customer service). I used to use their services but, they were horrible at honoring their customers. I haven't and will never use them again. Will someone from your company stand up and make this right?
