The issue in GetHuman-lailamc's own words
Myself and partner flew from Milan to Bristol **.** Friday **th July. We went through the security and was stopped by an airport staff member who said we would need to purchase speedy boarding as we had * bags. We had one carry on suitcase for the cabin and one over the body bag each. We purchased speedy boarding and proceeded to pass through the security checks, we had previously made sure that both our carry on cases fitted the easy jet measurer and he takes this case on with him on many easy jet flights as he is a music artists and frequently takes flights with easy jet for work. We then got to the gate and an easy jet staff member asked my partner to put his bag in the holder. At first the bag was a tight squeeze so I took his sweet treats he had purchased in the airport and told him to hold them as he can carry on anything purchased in the airport. The cabin bag then fitted. The easy jet staff member seemed annoyed at this and said he couldn't board unless he purchased a hold baggage allowance. We explained that we had already been told to purchase the speedy boarding for the * bags and they said that was to take the * bags on board with us but we explained that as we are not going to be able too now we want the speedy boarding refunded. We could have just checked the bag in the hold originally if this was the case. The staff member refused and the other staff members where laughing. This was a clear case of easy jet trying to cruelly extract as much money as possible they could from vulnerable people. My partner is disabled and blind in one eye as he was shot in his eye and suffers from extreme mood changes and mental health. They feed on this like vultures. I want to raise this complaint about the staff members working, also I want a full refund of the baggage allowance they forced upon my partner as this wasn't needed the bag fit and she was consistently talking about the weight of the bag when weight is nothing to do with the size of the bag. They conned us and I couldn't argue the point at the gate as we would have missed the flight.
