Thanks easyJet for charging me an additional €** for a school bag. When I asked the woman at the desk about Three Ireland customers being upgraded to priority for free (which is clearly advertised on their planes) she told me this wasn't possible but I could upgrade for €* - I wasn't pushed on this, and having already spent a lot of money on flights I thought I'd save my €* for food for my * hour stop over in London. I told her I was happy to carry both my bags and she happily let me through, knowing I wasn't allowed two bags and would receive a heafty fine at the gate.
