My red Door Dash MasterCard was declined at Wendy’s-*** in Fort Worth, TX today, after the lunch rush on October **. Address is *** N. Beach St., *****. Phone number is ***-***-****. The order included a Caesar Salad with Chicken sub Ranch, extra Ranch and the other salad was a Spicy Chicken Salad with extra Chicken, a Chili and included a Medium Soda. When I swiped the red Door Dash card, it was declined. The order was around $**.** and change. The cashier working the register immediately got the manager, who swiped it multiple times, yet it was still declined. The manager wanted me to call Door Dash and resolve the issue while the order was still pulled up on the register. I requested the manager cancel the order so I could chat with tech support. The manager didn’t seem to understand that Dashers can’t contact Tech Support by phone. Her name was Kaya and she began to be visibly frustrated and short with me. Meanwhile, the cashier was standing to the side visibly nervous and seemed like she might have been a new hire. She was a younger African-American girl who was treating me professionally the entire time during this incident. The manager canceled and re-rang the order with less professionalism than before and cut me off several times while I re-read her the order. She then rang so many extra Ranches that it actually began to charge the customer. I am aware that one extra side of Ranch is no charge, but anything beyond * extra sides is around $.** each. The manager actually ended up adding * more Ranch Sauces than requested and it was going to charge the customer upwards of $*.** extra. She was becoming more and more impatient with me and the cashier. At this point, the cashier asked if I would like to try one more time, and I decided to leave the restaurant and contact Dash tech support. As I was leaving, I realized I mistakenly drove to Wendy’s without actually accepting the order, but going off my text alert. I apologize profusely and will be making this mistake again. Can you please ensure that my card is authorized for use for Door Dash? I plan on going out this evening. Thank you so much. I felt Door Dash should know about how I was treated today. I really enjoy Dashing, and would love to be able to get back out there as soon as possible!!
