I am a driver for doordash and I would like to offer some feedback on a difficult merchant to deliver for : Walmart. First off these orders may contain *** plus items, and I am consistently waiting for a long time for the order to be ready for pick up. It seems like I am assigned the delivery when the order comes in, and in turn we are waiting for the order to be ready for a very long time. Also, the customer thinks that I work for Wal Mart, and apparently they can schedule a time that they would like it to be delivered. There is no correlation between that time and when I get the order. For instance I received an order at **:**, had to wait to pick it up at *:** because it was far from ready, and then the customer was furious that I did not deliver at their requested time window of *-* pm. I now am getting $*-* for an order that takes an hour and a half to complete, and an angry customer. Please work with Walmart so that we are not assigned the delivery untill the order is ready and in the correct time slot. It already takes longer than most deliveries because of the amount of items we must transport. We are notified when restaurants have our order, I think you can do the same with Walmart. I'm sorry to complain, I love everything else about working as a Dasher, but the Walmart delivery has consistently had customers mad at me on the timing, and they never tip even though these always take *-* times the length of a normal delivery, because they are mad at the merchant, or don't even realize I work for doordash and not Walmart.**We can always improve so I hope this feedback helps make the doordash experience better for both the customer and driver's.
