I’m a DoorDash Delivery driver, and I went to pickup an order at chick fil-a at ***** Highway *** , Cypress , TX ***** and was denied the order because I didn’t have a shirt and my insulated hot bag. I kept my DoorDash Issued Hot bag in my car to reduce pickup time. I read the terms and conditions before accepting this job so I’m classified as a independent contractor, and it said it did not require me to wear a company logo and said nothing of being required to have a DoorDash Issued Hot Bag at pickup. Why was I denied the order? I talked to the manager at this restaurant and she said I was required to wear my shirt and have my DoorDash Hot Bag. Also I was never issued a company logo shirt that had a DoorDash logo. This is the restaurant’s phone number ***-***-****. Please resolve this issue I can imagine other dashers are having a frustrating time with this restaurant as well. This happened during my morning shift *-**am.
Contacting the Restaurant to be made aware of that doordash delivery drivers are not employees of the company but rather independent contractors.
