I've encountered issues logging into my account, even with Direct Express Customer Services' assistance, due to repeated account lockouts for "invalid responses." Recently, I was informed that one dispute has been removed, causing frustration along with the challenges my family has faced battling Covid-19. The unauthorized charges are valid, and I'm submitting claim forms to provide details on these incidents. I'm requesting the previously closed claim be reopened and reviewed. I need to update my postal mailing address with USDirectExpress before my card expires in August [redacted]. I have had trouble reaching them by phone and find the long hold times insulting. I wish they would hire more staff to handle calls promptly. Dealing with their unhelpful recording until I finally reach someone is frustrating. The situation has angered me, particularly given the challenges I've faced with the SSA. If all these frustrations were embodied in a person, I'd be tempted to vent my anger physically. Dealing with Direct Express and their customer service is incredibly frustrating. When you call, you're subjected to a lengthy automated system that seems to repeat the same information endlessly. If you manage to bypass the automated system, you often encounter unhelpful representatives who quickly jump to blame you for any issues without proper investigation. Even when you provide evidence to support your case, they still insist on making you call back numerous times. Closing the card and requesting a new one after facing such inefficient service only adds to the already time-consuming process. Waiting on hold for at least thirty minutes to an hour each time you call further compounds the problem. It's an absolute nightmare dealing with them.

I lost my Direct Express card and ordered a new one. However, the card was sent to the wrong address in Sarasota, Texas instead of Sarasota, Florida. I have been waiting for a replacement since the second week of March but have not received it. I am frustrated with not being able to reach a live person on the phone. The automated system cuts me off once it mentions the wrong address. I encountered issues while trying to purchase a pair of shoes online. Despite having made several successful orders earlier, my card was suddenly declined with a message indicating it was rejected by the card company, Direct Express. Worried, I double-checked all my details and attempted the transaction again on both tacticalgear.com and merrell.com, only to receive the same card decline notification. Surprisingly, I was able to withdraw money from an ATM using the same card afterwards. I was informed by the IRS that my stimulus check would be deposited into my Direct Express account, but it has not shown up yet. I've been attempting to contact my financial institution for the past four days without success, trying different times and methods. The phone lines seem constantly busy, and I want to know why. I was staying with my sister when I had to go to the emergency room. I left my card with her, but I am worried she might have withdrawn all the money from my account without my knowledge. I didn't inform her that the doctor mentioned I was not well. My health is deteriorating, and I fear she may have misunderstood the situation and taken all the funds from my debit card and transferred them to her bank account. My wife's card was supposed to arrive on March 16 or 17, but it got stolen from outside our house when UPS delivered the package. She urgently requires a new overnight Direct Express card to pay her bills and purchase her seizure medications. Without any funds at the moment, it is crucial for her to get a replacement card since the previous one was stolen from the front of our house while still in the UPS package. She had originally ordered the card to be sent overnight, and she needs the new one expedited as well.

I am having issues accessing funds with my Direct Express Card. When attempting to make a transaction at the ATM, I'm being prompted to contact my bank. Even when visiting the bank for a cash advance, they were unable to access my funds, despite the website indicating it's possible in case of a lost or stolen card with the card number. My card has a crack and works intermittently. Although uncertain if the bank manually entered my card, as I was anxious due to needing money for rent, I recall asking them to do so. When contacting customer service, I can retrieve my balance information but struggle to reach a live representative due to high call volumes. Moreover, when trying to reset my security question online, the system keeps stating my responses are incorrect despite being certain they are accurate.

I checked my balance online due to an invalid card number error while making a purchase. I discovered a new card was ordered with a two-day delivery. I recently received my stimulus check. Despite calling for 24 hours, I only received a high-volume recording followed by disconnection. In my opinion, they should cancel the card to prevent unauthorized use. The fraud policy assumes guilt until proven innocent. I previously experienced fraud a few years back, leading to unauthorized transactions. I suspect it might have been flagged for fraud, but I have not received any notifications about it. In the past, there was fraudulent activity on my account that I reported, but after waiting for a response for two weeks and following up, I was told no fraud was found. Given this history, I am concerned about the current situation. This is causing me significant stress, and I fear I may face eviction if not resolved promptly.
