Due to a family emergency with a close relative gravely ill, my flight needs to be altered. Originally, scheduled for today departing from SLC to COS at 11:50 am, I am urgently trying to modify it to visit the hospital. Ideally, I wish to move the flight to tomorrow without incurring extra fees considering the situation or postpone the entire trip to late July. Unfortunately, the online system has been unresponsive for the last 30 minutes, hindering my efforts to make any changes.

Ticket Number: [redacted][redacted] I have an e-certificate for a flight credit from [redacted]. Unfortunately, my wife mistakenly used my nickname "Jim" instead of James on the ticket. Given the strict requirements of the TSA and the airline industry regarding name accuracy, I am concerned. The ticket is non-transferable, but could a spelling correction be made? We are frequent Delta travelers and have always experienced excellent service. We are looking forward to a September trip and hope to use our credits towards it. However, I worry that we might face issues at the gate if the name discrepancy is not addressed. (My wife's ticket number is [redacted][redacted]). Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated. James V.

I got an AMEX Delta Platinum account toward the end of [redacted] and spent over $[redacted] in the initial months to qualify for the 70,[redacted] bonus SkyMiles in the Platinum card promo. However, I have not seen these credited to my account yet. I sent an email regarding this matter two weeks ago but have not received a response. I am hoping for a prompt resolution with your assistance. Thank you.

I recently booked a multi-city ticket from Minneapolis, MN to Miami, Florida and then from Jacksonville, Florida back to Minneapolis. I wanted to change it to a round trip, but was unable to get through to customer service. I had to cancel the booking. Now, I am trying to access my eCredits to use them for a new flight, but I am unable to view them online. I need to speak with a representative to resolve this issue and book my new flight.

I wanted to address an issue from my recent flight on July 1st, [redacted], returning to Bermuda from Atlanta. Our non-stop flight was delayed until 2:30 pm due to brake issues, and we had to wait on the plane for over three hours. I believe it would be beneficial for the airline to consider offering compensation or a voucher for a future flight in situations like these to help mitigate the frustration experienced by passengers. Thank you.

Hello, I am facing an issue with a flight booking. I canceled my ticket five minutes after purchasing it due to selecting the wrong date. Despite canceling immediately, I noticed that I was still charged for the flights. I managed to use the ticket for the correct date, however, I have been charged for both flights, including one related to Delta Airlines. Unfortunately, I just found out about a potential fourth lockdown in France, which would affect my travel plans due to the closure of borders. Given the circumstances, I kindly request assistance in changing my ticket or obtaining a refund. I have attempted to contact kiwi.com, where I purchased the tickets, since June without any response. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, Gurval Roger

My daughter, C. B., with reservation number HHISV7, is currently stranded at the airport in London trying to return home from school. Despite checking in online earlier, she was denied boarding as they claimed she arrived late, which was not the case. Even though she checked in, she was directed to speak with a Delta representative. After waiting on hold for over two hours, the flight has departed, leaving her stuck at the airport without any assistance from Delta. As her father who purchased the ticket, I urgently need her to return home to Atlanta promptly, especially since we have upcoming travel plans. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

Dear Delta, I am reaching out regarding a recent flight change due to unforeseen circumstances. My wife and I had to adjust our travel plans from July 6th to July 5th due to a family emergency and a looming hurricane threat in Florida. The process of changing our flights was quite challenging as we encountered delays, errors, and difficulties in reaching your customer support. Despite our efforts, we were left frustrated with the outcome. I would like to highlight the exceptional support we received from a staff member at Tampa airport who assisted us in resolving the situation. She recommended that we request a refund for the miles and fees incurred, which were a result of the issues we faced. Unfortunately, our attempts to communicate through your message center have been unsuccessful, adding to our disappointment with the overall customer service experience. I am seeking reimbursement for the [redacted] miles deducted from my wife's account, as well as the $53 charge on mine. Furthermore, I believe a full refund for both tickets is warranted given the circumstances. The lack of prompt response and efficient resolution from Delta has only added to the stress and difficulties we have faced during this trying time. I urge you to address this matter promptly and provide the necessary assistance to rectify the situation. Sincerely, Howard Hutchings

Delta changed my September 11, [redacted], flight from SFO to Salt Lake City and then to Jackson Hole, WY, from an 11:15 am flight basic economy from SFO to a 6 am flight from SFO to Salt Lake City. This requires me to leave my home around 4:15 am to get to SFO by 5 am. As a 78-year-old with a heart condition, it is challenging for me to go out in the dark morning and get my friend to drive me during that time. Unfortunately, Delta's [redacted] number is unreachable after waiting for over 3 hours in the middle of the night. I have also tried to modify the flight on the Delta website, but I am unable to do so. If I cancel, Delta won't provide a refund. I have reached out via email and chat but only encountered a "robot" that was unhelpful. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My partner and I canceled our flight from Atlanta to Montego Bay scheduled for 7/28/20-8/2/20. We received two e-credit numbers for $[redacted].12 each. We later used these credits to purchase a flight from Atlanta to Liberia, Costa Rica, for $[redacted].12, leaving us with $[redacted].36 in e-credits. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the Costa Rica flights due to the pandemic and received new e-credit numbers. However, we are unable to use any of our e-credit numbers online, including the $[redacted] remaining and the one for the Costa Rica flight. We've contacted customer service before to no avail, and were advised to call back when ready to use the credits.

On January 10th, I made flight reservations for my husband and myself. We were supposed to depart from Atlanta to Venice on Tuesday, August 31st and return from Athens, Greece on September 15th, both in Delta One seats. However, we recently received a notification that our flights had been rescheduled to leave on September 14th, over 24 hours earlier than planned. Despite the availability of non-stop Delta One seats on a flight from Athens to ATL on the original return date, we were not reassigned to that option. Trying to amend the flights independently would result in a cost of over $[redacted] per ticket. I am requesting that Delta makes the necessary adjustments at no extra charge to maintain our initial travel schedule as closely as possible. The current changes would greatly inconvenience us as we have a cruise planned, and the new timing will significantly impact our ability to disembark, travel to the airport, clear customs, and catch our flight.

My name is Reinhart Laimer, with Skymiles number [redacted]. I recently flew on flight DL 72/[redacted] from ATL to AMS to STR on 09 JUL in Delta One class. Unfortunately, I experienced significant delays and challenges throughout my journey. The check-in process at ATL Hartsfield took longer than expected, with a 20-minute wait. The Delta Agent faced difficulties locating my reservation, resulting in a further delay of 20 minutes while they sought assistance. The departure of flight #72 was delayed by 34 minutes due to the late arrival of the aircraft. Upon arrival in AMS, de-boarding was delayed by 10 minutes due to the flight bridge not being moved into place promptly. Despite a tight transfer window in AMS, I managed to catch my connecting flight to STR on time thanks to the pilots' understanding. However, my luggage, which included important medications, did not arrive in STR with me. I filed a baggage claim and was informed it would be delivered to my address by 8:00 PM on 10 JUL but experienced further delays. Despite my efforts to contact the airport and airline, I had to physically go to the airport to retrieve my luggage, facing additional hassles with customs checks. This experience has left me considering alternative airlines for future trips to Stuttgart until Delta Airlines resumes non-stop flights from ATL to STR.

I made reservations on June 25, [redacted]. Since then, my reservations have been changed three times without consulting me. I have no choice but to cancel or accept increasingly unacceptable reservations. If I cancel, I will only receive an ecard for Delta, leading to another round of bait and switch. I can't drive to the airport at the scheduled times because they are before sunrise, and I struggle in the dark. Furthermore, my travel time now includes a 4-hour layover and a 2-hour wait at my destination airport. As an elderly person who tires easily, I purposely chose a low-stress schedule. This situation is very distressing. Multiple calls to customer service have resulted in wait times of over 90 minutes, and I get disconnected after an automatic evaluation question plays without connecting me to a customer service representative. I am feeling desperate.

I'm seeking confirmation for my Delta reservation with confirmation no. HPZ935. If it exists, kindly forward a copy of the itinerary to [redacted] I booked through Air Flight, but after receiving a message stating Delta can't guarantee the content post-sending, I'm uncertain about its validity.

I contacted customer service to inquire about the remaining balance on my e-ticket, which was $[redacted]. Unfortunately, they informed me that the minimum balance they could honor was $[redacted]. Consequently, I had to buy Apple and Google gift cards, send pictures of them to customer service, and then the denominations on the cards were incorrect, pushing me into higher value brackets. This process spanned for multiple hours yesterday and today, escalating the amount to an alarming $10,[redacted]. Throughout this ordeal, I faced challenges purchasing the required gift cards due to shopping limitations, experienced financial setbacks like my credit card being canceled and debited twice, and even had a check for a gift card declined. I received an email mentioning my e-credit validity until September [redacted]. However, I faced restrictions while using it for a trip to Golf Shores last February. This whole experience with Delta has been frustrating, leaving me feeling overwhelmed and distressed, with financial losses and strain on my relationship with my husband. I'm deeply disappointed and feeling helpless in this situation.

I received 4 ticket credits after canceling my tickets on the phone due to my family's Covid-19 symptoms. I was informed that I would only receive the credits if I refrained from flying for ten days and that additional fees would apply beyond the credits. The condition to contact the app, Hopper, for new tickets was also mentioned. However, Delta Airlines informed me that the credits would expire if not used by the 20th of July, a detail not conveyed during my cancellation. After informing Hopper, they contacted the airlines and recommended I speak directly with them. I request that Delta Airways allow Hopper to use my eCredits for purchasing new tickets in August. I am willing to pay extra fees if required, but urge for the eCredits to be included in the future purchase. Dear Customer Service, I recently made a flight reservation on Sunday, July 18th, which I unfortunately had to cancel within the 24-hour window provided. However, I was surprised to find an $11.20 charge on my credit card statement from Delta for "Delta Wifi." As a loyal Delta customer, I have never opted to purchase in-flight wifi services, so I was quite alarmed by this unexpected charge. It seems possible that there was a checkbox I missed during the booking process, leading to this situation. I kindly request a prompt refund for this charge. My SkyMiles number is [redacted], and my name is Hillia Aho. Please inform me if you require any additional details to process the refund. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Hillia A.

I have a confirmation number G3A5PE for traveler J.B.G. In December [redacted], I bought a basic fare ticket for my college student granddaughter in Mexico City. Due to COVID, we had to cancel the April [redacted] trip. I was advised it's changeable until December [redacted]. I switched it in April [redacted] for a trip from Mexico City to Cincinnati but now her college moved classes online till December due to unvaccinated people. I tried changing her ticket to December 21, but the website won't allow it, though it's valid until December 31, [redacted]. I can't afford a new ticket and seek assistance to modify the return from July 31 to December 21. Thank you.

Today, I queued for my boarding pass for a flight to Greece for over an hour before being notified I couldn't board. After returning home, I had to contact a Delta partner to rebook, incurring significant emotional and financial expenses. I wish to discuss this issue with someone from Delta to prevent similar troubles in the future and recover at least my financial losses of $[redacted].00 in cab fares and $[redacted].00 for rebooking. Despite being a loyal Delta customer for a long time, I was disheartened by today's events. My trip was visible on the Delta app, prompting online check-in attempts which were unsuccessful. I don't believe I made any mistakes warranting being prevented from flying. I am hoping for a resolution. Thank you, Delta Sky miles.
