The issue in GetHuman-suzhao's own words
This month, I received a bill with an extra charge of $** stated as a "one time charges and credits". I think it might have been related to a technician that was ordered by the customer representative I was talking to. However, she did not mention of any charges before she sent the technician and it was not my initial set up up of my modem with cox, so I was under the impression that it was at * cost. My previous modem was working fine, it was just a change of an upgraded modem that did not work. It turns out the problem was a cable the previous owner* cox setup wire did not work with the modem. If I knew the representative's initiative to send a technician would cost an extra $**, I would have stuck with my previous modem that was working with Cox or tried another modem or maybe even enrolled in the monthly Cox Complete Care. I'm currently on a budget and saving towards something important and this extra charge threw me off a bit. Is there any way to waive this $** charge or credit it towards the next bill since the technician wasn't exactly something I ordered and I was uninformed of a charge that was attached to it?
