I want my HD back!! I contacted customer service with the hopes of downgrading whatever I could to try to get current with my billing. I figured since I have an old TV that I didn't need HD. I was not told that it would affect my programming and On-Demand. I pay an OUTRAGEOUS amount for Double Play. I don't watch sports or music channels and its seems like that most of my channels. I do not need this speed of internet. I don't even have a phone line and I'm paying an average of $*** to $*** a month because I'm always behind. I call every month to request an extension due to the fact that two weeks after I signed the agreement with Comcast I was in an accident and cannot work and only recieve monies on the first of every month. I've remained with Comcast even though the bill is as much as my rent. Instead of extra fees every single month why can't Comcast try to help a loyal customer? The $** for HD is not worth losing what little I do have in TV programming. For the amount I pay I should have had my equipment updated quite awhile ago. There's myself and my grandson using the ***mbp of "super fast internet" and our devices lag a we cannot always connect. I feel very taken advantage of. Please Help.
