I visited the **** SW Hall Blvd. location in Portland, OR this afternoon when I ordered my usual side of rice, cheese, and guacamole in a burrito to-go. Normally I have been charged for a couple of sides - it comes out to a total of $*.**. In fact I paid that much for the very same order at this location on Sep. **th. (I have photo proof for the charge).***Today while ordering the guy told the gal at the cashier (Deborah, not sure if the spelling is accurate) it would be two sides and when she rang it up as $*.**. I inquired about the price increase and she almost immediately turned to the back for advice, she was in the back room for awhile and the line was starting to grow so I mentioned to the staff out front that it wasn’t that big of a deal and that I would like to pay the total as is. I didn’t ask for her to grab help.**However, a few minutes later she returned with two other staff members who didn’t acknowledge me, the new woman simply keyed into the register (I’m assuming she might be the supervisor) and then told me the charge would be $*.**. I asked her the same question about why the price was increased when normally I’m charged for a couple of sides. **I feel compelled to make a complaint though I usually love this location, it’s my go-to, but I felt humiliated because they treated me like I was burdening them and being unreasonable. I only asked why the same order increased in price within a week. **I would have appreciated being met with the same respect and basic kindness. I didn’t fuss, raise my voice, etc. Now I feel I can’t return to this location because the three treated me like an unreasonable customer who they needed to call for back-up to deal with. **The (supervisor) mentioned to me that I was being charged incorrectly and that whoever was ringing me up prior was doing their job wrong. The problem is that I’ve made this order many times with the same charge. **Next time I would hope that there is a clear line of communication between workers so that this confusion doesn’t happen. It would also be nice to be treated with respect. Maybe they should consider honoring the price for the “first offense” for situations like this.**Thank you so much for your time.
