I discovered our community mail box had been burgled at *:** am Monday May ** ****. This was reported to Canada Post circa *:** am and an incident reference was assigned *** *** *** given by "Michael" but since then no contact made by Canada Post. Also the mail box has not been repaired as of end of business May **. *The box was broken into by melting the lock using, I think, a Propane Torch. ** boxes in the cluster at *rd line and Marine Drive, Oakville. Only our box was visibly targeted - the other ** did not seem to attract the attention of the criminal.*My assumption - was that a person watched the "postie" bring a parcel too large to fit in the small mail box and so it was put in one of the two larger "mail boxes" and the necessary key then left in our regular mail box.**I asked for two thing when making the initial report: -*Where would our mail now be delivered.*Could Canada Mail confirm that a package had been delivered to us recently and hence now may have been stolen. Two separate books had been recently ordered - one subsequently arrived safely by courier - the other not yet arrived.**No response yet and I think it reasonable to expect some follow up by now from Canada Post.
