I would like my latest gas bill checked at it doesn’t tally with my smart meter reading. We have only had the smart meter in since September and paid on demand before this all bills paid off

How GetHuman4271090 fixed the problem
Our quarterly energy bills came in imagine the shock we had when we opened the British Gas bill £**** especially as we have their latest smart meter and it estimated we were using around £* a day apparently they estimate this amount and although they send it out as bill we should not try to make a payment, but wait until it balances out over the year still not convinced but apparently our bill was only £*** we are both in our seventies and we’re hoping for a less stressful experience with British Gas how wrong could I be
