The pink ribbon peeled of it after only having is a little over * months. I wanted to send it back and have it replaced or get some other kind of ring and pay more for it. ... I have ordered from Bradford Exchange for many years. I have spent an awful lot of money with your company. I had breast cancer and I asked my son if he would get me a ring for Christmas that I had picked out from your company. I had just finished my radiation therapy and I love that ring. Hew got it for me for Christmas. It was the Breast Cancer Hope Ring. Last week I noticed the pink ribbon had peeled off the ring. I now find out that it cannot be exchanged because it only had a * month warranty. The ring peels just after the warranty ends. I am heartbroken. Being a breast cancer survivor I loved that ring as was something very special to me. E-mailing someone back about this issues is horrible. You just e-mail them and tell them it cannot be exchanged. How can you do that. Four months is not long for a warranty period unless you know that ring is going to peel soon. To say I am disappointed in this company is not enough. I am sure it does not matter to you what a person goes through with breast cancer. You need to stop selling that ring because someone else who is going through breast cancer is going to profoundly disappointed when the pink ribbon peels of that ring. You need to stop selling breast cancer rings. Instead of helping us to feel better about ourselves and what we have been through we end of devastated by the very thing that we were proud to wear.*All we wanted to do was send the ring back and pay the difference in a better one. I will no longer think of Bradford Exchange as a reliable and reputable company. You are a heartless company and evidently you take pride in that. *You hide behind your horrible values with e-mails. My son gave me this ring because it was what I chose from your company. There were many companies that had breast cancer rings but I chose you. I will regret that choice forever.
The could have cared less. They say the warranty ran out after four months. I am a breast cancer survivor and the ring was a symbol for me. If you are a breast cancer patient DO NOT order a breast cancer ring from this company. How convenient for them, the warranty ran out a couple of weeks before the ring peeled.
They have made it clear they are not going to resolve it. They said the warranty expired. The ring symbolizes nothing now with part of it missing. I was so upset and cried while I was begging them to please exchange the ring for me.
I have ordered from them for years. Always satisfied.
Just broken hearted over this. I am going to take it to a jeweler and see if they can do something with it.
