i have charges for a hotel booked from booking.com that i did not book. someone booked into the hotel and the hotel put the card number in manually and did not swipe my card because the person did not have my physical card. i have it. so how is one able to check into a hotel without the physical card. i would like to beleive a hotel would not let someone just give a credit card number verbally to pay for room.
