Trying to resolve an ongoing issue but haven't been successful considering the responses I am getting from Booking.com ... I stayed at White Sands Hotel in Pt Pleasant NJ from ********* to *********. When leaving I paid the balance of my bill but was charged an add'l $*** for incidentals. Was told it would be returned to my acct as soon as room was inspected. I have not seen that $*** returned to me yet. I contacted hotel and rec'd replies from Alba M, Hector R, Orlando R all asking for same info. I provided info each time and told them it was included in my emails. Hector R's email said he reviewed email history and could not find the info needed to address the matter. I replied that all he had to do was scroll down and he would find the info. *I told them my confirmation document and PIN was discarded when I arrived at hotel so could not give them that info. *March ** deposit given of $***.** and July ** "balance" of $***.**. When I contacted White Sands I was told the $*** was just a hold and was removed. I understand about 'holds' since when I buy gasoline or other items, there is usually $*.** or so on my statement but is removed when full amount has been authorized. So I did not see $*** at any time. I want a resolution to this matter and have not received any further communication from booking.com or White Sands Hotel.*itsnew***@gmail, ***-***-****.*I may have used an old email address of *****@***.com when making the reservation, if that helps. I want to know where the $*** is and why it has not been returned to my account. How can the CSR say he can't see my reply. He is answering it, isn't he? which means he sees what I wrote.
I first used Booking.com in March **** when I reserved a room at the White Sands Hotel in Pt. Pleasant NJ. I expected what anyone would …...a real reply to my numerous emails, not an automated response which was given to me several times.
I have sent numerous emails to Booking.com and their CSRs reply with automated responses asking for more info which I have already provided in my emails. However, one CSR indicated that he does not see any info from me. All he had to do was scroll down and he would find my email, but he said he doesn't see any. When replying to an email, it is common knowledge that the email you are responding to is right there.
