I bought a Nokia **** *G earlier this month that arrived broken. I contacted a nokia agent and they told me that my phone was covered under warranty since it was SOLD DEFECTIVE and that I should return it to where I bought it from, which was BESTBUY.COM, and not a physical location. Before returning the defective phone, I contacted a bestbuy agent to make sure that, since the product ARRIVED DEFECTIVE, I would not have to pay the $** restocking fee - if I would have had to pay the fee, I would have kept the product. This agent promised me that, since the product had a manufacturer defect, I would not be charged a restocking fee.** Since this was the deal, I returned the phone via UPS on Nov. **. Last Tuesday, the **th, I received an email confirming my return, but I checked my bank account and had received my refund MINUS the restocking fee. I contacted another best buy agent that told me that, since I had been promised to have the restocking fee waived, Best Buy would honor that deal and get me my $**. He never followed up, and as of now, I still do not have my $** dollars.
GetHuman-aidanmcb did not yet indicate what Best Buy should do to make this right.
