The issue in GetHuman-hnk's own words
Buy a television ... My husband and I just had the * most frustrating and defeating Best Buy shopping experiences in our lives. We drove ** miles to Best Buy in Turkey Creek located in Farragut TN to shop for a *k uhd smart tv. We explained very directly and clearly what features we needed to be compatible with our entertainment set up which includes a ps*, ps*, *k player, sound bar, and bluetooth head phones. We wanted a **" screen and we stated our desired price range. We currently have a sony bravia and it does not work well with our sound bar and head phone set up and does not have the best picture quality for gaming. The sales rep pointed out several televisions steering us away from the brands we had currently been considering. The tv he picked was rhe correct size, wifi capable, smart tv *k uhd and he assured us it would be compatible for gaming and would work with our sound bar and head phone set up. We asked several times if the tv was bluetooth capable and he states yes along with his associate. We made the purchase and purchased the geek squad warranty. When we got home the tv was NOT bluetooth capable which means we cant use our head phones. My husband had to make the ** mile drive back this morning ro resolve the issue. He wanted to just exchange for a model that was bluetooth capable. When he arrived they informed him there were no models in that price range that were bluetooth capable. Which was frustrating bc had we known this we simply would have not made the purchase saving my husband the sceond trip back which is highly inconvenient bc he works *rd shift as a nurse *p-*a and he should be asleep now but he is still awake. The sales rep today offered him a floor model at a price $*** more than we paid for the tv we purchased last night but this model was bluetooth capable so my husband agreed. But when they started to wrap the tv for his purchase they turned it over and the back was severly damaged. They proceeded to do a refund as they stated they had nothing to offer him. So yes, he got a refund, but he walked away with no tv and made a *nd ** mile trip with nothing to show for it all bc a sales rep assured us last night the tv he suggested for us to buy was fully bluetooth capable which it was not. I am frustrated and feel utterly defeated after this and the entire experience has made me lose faith in best buy's ability to inform customers about the products they are trying to sell. I am not sure how to resolve this but after making * trips resulting in driving over ***miles and walking away with no tv just a simple refund is an utter loss in this situation.
Their salesman had inadequate knowledge about the proucts he was trying to sell us
A refund was less than satisfactory bc we drove over *** miles in * days bc of the lack of knowledge about a product in their store sold to us by one of their employees who claimed to be fully informed about the tv he sold us
