Filled out the following in an “after visit” survey and asked that Best Buy contact me. I heard back from Verizon even though it wasn’t their problem, but nothing from Best Buy.*Date: *********Store: Crystal Lake, IL (**** Northwest Highway)*Best Buy Rewards ID: ********** *Receipt number: ******-******-******-*****-******-****Was horrible experience. Went to buy an Apple Watch. Jake did not pull right model for me (didn't have strap I requested), but by the time I noticed I decided to not say anything because it would mean starting over with a new box (and the setup he did took close to * hours because he kept having to ask questions, etc.).*So I had to pay $**.** out of pocket for a band I should've paid $* extra for! Jake did not do a full setup in the store (did not actually test device, he just said the cellular was activated) ... got it home and cellular didn't work. So I had to drive ** miles back to the store and spend another *.* hours while a new tech set it up. This tech, Mahek was awesome* and said Jake should've done all of this work when I first bought the device.*Complained to manager (Jerry Tabor) and asked for at least a refund of the $** I paid for the band which I should not have had to pay for. Jerry was very nice and understanding but only credited me **% ($**.**). Not sure if that's the limit of his authority but I am not completely satisfied with this resolution.*I go Best Buy for the service! I've purchased many phones and appliances at Best Buy and never had an issue. In order for me to even consider coming back to Best Buy I would like:**) credit of remainder for band (another **.**)**) gift card of $** to compensate me for having to drive ** miles round trip, * hour in travel time, and an extra *.* hours in the store to start process all over*If Best Biuy choose not to do this, then I will relay my experiences clearly on social media and will not step foot in a Best Buy ever again.
