Help with my Behringer issue

I purchased guitar wireless system the Behringer UG***AIRPLAY to use on my Martin guitar with an LR Baggs active pickup. When I plugged in it worked but it had a high pierced tone almost like feedback. The only way I could stop it was to turn the transmitter different directions and then I couldn’t move or it started again. After I used it for a few minutes the receiver stopped working entirely. This happened twice as the company sent me another one which did the same thing. The salesperson told me it should work with an active pickup so I don’t know if that’s the issue. It sounded great when I could get the squeal out of it but not a good situation. Thanks. Stan Childers
