The issue in GetHuman-seirasta's own words
Hi, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask for advice. I haven't been able to find any information about my particular issue on the Internet. I opened my account *-* years ago in high school, and got a student credit card. A few years later I suddenly had to move back to my home country due to a death in the family and in the ensuing chaos I completely neglected my bank account. When I came back to the U.S. I was told that my previous account had been closed and my credit card had been cancelled, but when I look at my account it says I still have $**.** in liabilities from that old account (no option to pay it off though as it's closed). I'm completely clueless as to all of this but I think this is also preventing me from being approved for any credit cards, even with a decent credit score. Is there absolutely ANY way to pay this off? How do I send this money to the proper channels?
GetHuman-seirasta did not yet indicate what Bank of America should do to make this right.
