I missed my train by * minute due to closed roads in NYC- it was in the station when I arrived but I wasn’t able to board. I kindly explained this to the Amtrak agent but she charged me a change fee*revised date of $**. A friend was with me and had a different agent and she was able to change her ticket without paying the fee. I am extremely disappointed for not being able to board the first train and then for being charged $** when that is clearly not a consistent policy. My reservation number is ******. I would like to be refunded the $**.
