Purchased r*t ticket via Priceline. Selected and paid for a specific seat. When my reservation was completed there was no seat assignment. Priceline Reps told me I had to call American Airlines to fix the problem. After waiting ** minutes and finally getting an American Airlines Rep she told me unless I was willing to pay another $** for her time she couldn't help me. She referred me to th... ... I have been referred to several different telephone numbers. I don't know what I can do. I made a reservation via Priceline this morning. The confirmation is YMYEKA . After I paid for the flights I received a message that there was a problem with my seat choices. I paid extra for the seats. I need to find out what the problem is and get a seat assigned. Again, I already paid for it. After waiting ** minutes on line and explaining my problem to their Rep she said she couldn't help me unless I paid $** for her time. Then she told me to check on line to get my problems solved. There was no on line American Airline option that addressed my issue. I looked for another ** minutes.
The American Airline Rep wasn't interested in assisting me with the seat assignment. Worse, nothing in AA's online site seemed to be the place to go to get things straight.
Giving me my seat assignment that I paid for on Priceline.
I have been unable to do anything more about what should have been a simple transaction. If I didn't already have my reservation I'd cancel the flight and never fly American Airlines again.
