Had a flight from South Bend to Charleston with stop in Charlotte on March *th Flight **** scheduled to leave at *:** am. Boarded plane alarm goes off, pilot comes over intercom to tell us we ca not take off. Mechanics come on board can not fix need new part get new part does not work. We are asked to deplane and get information on a new flight. We are at back of line because we were in the back of the plane. After almost * hours standing in line . Only flight left was to Charlotte. We would have to wait until Sunday to get to Charleston. Accepted flight to Charlotte and drove to Charleston because we needed to pick up someone.saturday. Would like some compensation for flight from Charlotte to Charleston. Passengers Debra Yost, Brenda Waggoner and Anna Marie Schoff. The flight we did take departed after our expected arrival into Charleston.
GetHuman-dayhike did not yet indicate what American Airlines should do to make this right.
