I am trying to return and refund two of my orders because they were duplicated by mistake. I only need one of each. ... On may **th I ordered multiple items on amazon. Two of my orders were duplicated by accident. One of them is a jojo siwa poster bundle which was accidently ordered twice and the other item that was ordered twice was a pink yoga mat. I only meant to order one of each. When I realized that the two orders were duplicated, I tried cancelling both of them multiple times but the website said that cancellation was not guaranteed since the items were about to be shipped. I requested cancellation on that same day with the reason that i ordered by mistake but today, May **th, The website stated that the jojo siwa posters were both shipped. I tried returning one of the duplicates today but the only way the website stated for return was to do a amazon drop off and USP drop off which both requires going outside. Because of Covid-**,me and my family are deciding that we cannot go out at this time to return the two packages when we receive it. For the pink yoga mat, I had the option to canceI it since it has not been shipped yet. However, the website has stated that the item could not be cancelled at the time because it was part of a multi-item promotion. I would greatly appreciate it if my two mistaken orders could be returned before they arrive to my address. In addition, I would also want a refund for these two items since they were both ordered by mistake. The order number of the two items I would like to be refunded and returned is ***-*******-*******. This was especially frustrating because my mistaken orders took me many tries to cancel. Although I requested cancellation multiple times, they have not been cancelled. It is only fair that I could be refunded since my accidental orders were not intentional.
I want my problem to be resolved by having my two duplicate orders returned before they arrive at my address, and also have the money refunded to my amazon account.
I have been a customer for a while now but recently switched to this account.
I have already tried cancelling the two orders but my request for both has been denied.
