Help with my Amazon issue
Did that get it fixed?
Waiting to see if GetHuman-rpalluzi fixed the issue with our suggestion.
The issue in GetHuman-rpalluzi's own words
I placed an order ***-*******-******* on Nov ** with a promised delivery of Nov **. On Dec * I chatted and was told it would be delivered in **-** hours. On Dec * seeing from the FEDEX app that it was still in chicago fron Nov ** having been returned there from PA the day before I chatted with SHARVAI and his*her supervisor ALOK. Both were curt and unhelpful. I called and talked to Joanna and her supervisor Melanie. Neither could help me. My concern was the return to Chicago suggests the order might be damaged and I wanted someone to follow up to understand the issue. I worry I will receive a damaged item that will take another week(s) to return*replace. First everyone told me the delay was due to weather or a natural catastrophe. Since I have family in Chicago I told them that was BS. Then I was told I had to wait until Dec *, the scheduled delivery date. Melanie finally offered to send me a new item but told me to avoid a double charge I needed to refuse delivery for one of them. Since I am often not home that would not work. I asked Melanie if she would agree to overnight express me a replacement if the unit came in damaged. She said no, it would take about a week. I feel like Amazon's customer service is simply following a script to get you off the phone as fast as possible. I am certainly going to rethink my use of Amazon in the future. I am very upset.
GetHuman-rpalluzi did not yet indicate what Amazon should do to make this right.
