I ordered a lupit pole classic. Because it is not a permanent mount, I was concerned about pole stability and I and I researched it thoroughly. Their website says "Lupit Pole poles have no fall records until now. Only best materials are used and mechanical design has been done by mechanical engineers using latest designing tools and knowledge. On the same page they also note that lateral force could be an issue. Makes sense and I wanted it solely for arm strength between when I can go to my studio. I wasn't planning any doing spins or anything that would exert lateral force. **I was thrilled with the shipping speed and everything looks like expected upon arrival. We get the pole out and we set it up exactly according to specifications. Leveled it to perfection. All looks well. Two hours in, the pole came crashing down. It shattered a water glass and sent water all over family pictures and my computer, which in the end were mostly recoverable. This is a HEAVY pole and barely missed my son's head. I'm a paramedic and the potentialities there are terrifying. It did not, however, miss my arm. Obvious deformity (I can send a pic if you like). Went to the ER and I have a radial fracture. *I just want to send the **** thing back and get a refund. I have a broken arm though and toting this thing up to fed ex isn't going to work, so I'm going to need something arranged so that I don't have to lift it. That's all. Oh, and Lupit needs to change their website because now they have a "fall record." If this thing makes a direct fall onto somebody's head someday, things could be so, so much worse. **Thank you. **Tanesa Hill
