First of all, it took forever to find a phone number to call, to speak to a real person in customer service. I found it, finally (***-***-****) and have been on the phone for ** minutes (still counting) and my issue (which seems pretty simple to me) has not yet been resolved...I'm thinking by emailing it may be done faster! So here's my problem. I ordered a hair dryer that wasn't working within a couple of weeks of use, so I wanted to return it. Amazon refunded my account, and sent an email with directions as to the item's return. The problem was*is that there was no address provided for me to write on the box that was ready to go. I called customer service today to find out that information, which I've yet to learn.**The woman with whom I was speaking, I think, did her very best to help me, but she did not do so in a timely manner....I was asked three times times to simply verify my address, twice to verify my email. She was somewhat difficult for me to understand, and I'm not sure she was able to understand me....there were many moments of silence, during which I needed to ask, "Are you there ?" I felt badly asking, but I wasn't sure whether or not we were disconnected (I figured we weren't as I heard other voices in the background).*We are now up to ** minutes, and I am told that an email will be forthcoming with a label which I can print and affix to my package, and then take to UPS to ship. I was told to wait, which I am doing.*** minutes- I was just asked again for my email address (**), which I provided again. Directed to check my email for the info I requested, and yes, it was*is there!*So in the end, my issue was solved, but it has taken an awful long time for what I think should've been a pretty simple thing, and I was initially frustrated at not being able to find a number to call.*ps) I am still on the phone, waiting in silence, and I do not know why....I will say, "Hello?" again, and try to end the call.
GetHuman-sgerace did not yet indicate what Amazon should do to make this right.
