Receive a refund for cancelled booking ... Hi, My host cancelled my booking on arrival and did not contact me beforehand, I received an email ** minutes after arrival letting me know the booking was cancelled due a double booking. I had to pay £***.** extra for alternative accommodation.*I have not received a refund yet for the booking of £**.** .The booking was for * - * July, Receipt ID was RCMJJ*CTPR, confirmation code HMAMBK**** .The address was ***a Upper Richmond Rd, Putney, London SW** *TH. I am therefore seeking a refund of £***.** - the extra I had to pay for alternative accommodation. Please can you help me with this issue?
I had to find alternative accommodation on the spot, had just travelled *** miles to get there, all prices were inflated in area due to Wimbledon fortnight.
