Yesterday I had to cancel a reservation on AirBNB (for my apartment in Amsterdam) that I had accepted a few hours before. The reason I had to cancel, was that my guest only after making the reservation, told me that he was going to arrive after midnight. He made a reservation arriving on the *th of december, but turned out to arrive after midnight, so technically the *th of december. **Since I am renting out my own apartment, as you are supposed to do on AirBNB, I can only rent when I'm away myself. I have a friend (host) letting people in. I accepted the reservation assuming my guest came on the *th, but had to cancel when I found out he came after midnight. **I asked my guest to cancel himself, since he hadn't told me about arriving that late before. He was willing to do this at first, but when he found out he would not get a total refund, he send me an invitation to cancel myself. I accepted this, thinking we had a mutual agreement, not realizing I could not rent my apartment anymore in that period. **I would like AirBbB to unblock the dates, so I can still accept new guests. I did not cancel, because I'm not a trustworthy host, but because my guest arrived technically a day later. So I sincerely think it is not my fault nor responsibility. I have proven to be a good host and I think it is unfair that I cannot accept new guests for next week. **I hope we can resolve this as soon as possible. **Kind regards, *Carla Cuijpers******@***.com*************
