Made reservation on November * for arrival date of Nov. *. On Nov. * notified the host that I needed to cancel due to family issue out of town, today Nov * I realized I needed to go on site to cancel and I did only to find out that even though it was in the ** hrs they would only refund $** of the over $***. This is outrageous- I was in the ** hrs. Could not be in the ** days since the reservation was only * days away. *Then I made a reservation for a place at Myrtle Beach after getting issue resolved. *Within ** minutes of making reservation I found out I might not be able to go so I immediately cancelled- within ** mins. got notice not getting full refund. *So now AIRBNB HAS KEPT OVER $*** of my money when I followed the rule of cancelling within ** hrs. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW YOU CAN KEEP CYSTOMERS MONEY THUS WAY!!! Outrageous!!!! I obviously am confused and need help before I ***** up again. Stayed at Airbnb before without a single issue but they did not have thus cancellation policy!! *I want refund!!!!
