My father just passed away yesterday, and I would like to book a bereavement flight from Charlottetown, PEI to Ottawa, ON for November **th (in the a.m.) and returning December *, **** (in the p.m.) for my * sons to attend their grandfather's funeral. Everything I read on the Air Canada website indicates that I have to call to book a flight and not use the website.*They recently came back home for my mother (their grandmother's) funeral on October *, **** and drove the ** hours here and ** hours back. I do not want them to have to repeat this for their grandfather, hence the reason for booking a flight. I hope you can help me. I have all the necessary information required as indicated on the website.**Susan Cook****-***-****

I kept re-freshing the time and it kept saying ** minute wait. I decided to try and call once again and was on hold for * hour and ** minutes, but I got through. I had everything prepared to book a bereavement flight for my * sons. The phone call with the agent took only ** minutes and saved a big amount. This type of booking can only be done over the phone and the agent was very thorough, professional and compassionate. I only needed the names of my sons, the flight TO and FROM, dates, name of the deceased, relationship of the deceased to the passengers, date of the funeral, name and address of the funeral home and then of course my form of payment and the details for that. (my name, email address to send the booking confirmation for the ticket. Very well done and I am very pleased, especially during this trying time.
