The issue in GetHuman-idoliver's own words
My husband & I travelled Smithers,BC to PHL, USA with one checked bag....one charge all the way through....no problem as United airlines waived the baggage fee as we were within the time limits. Excellent service!!!*Upon our return Air Canada would not even entertain the thought of waving the fee. We had to go through customs & had our bags with us & the baggage tags were still on their respective bags -we each had a bag checked on our way back to Smithers,BC & were charged for each bag on Air Canada for this last leg of our trip. Please consider waving this fee as we never left YVR but went directly from customs to the AC check-in with our bags. Please phone ***-***-**** if you require more info. I must add that the AC reps in Smithers BC were excellent & most informative.*A refund for the second charge for the baggage fee would be greatly appreciated
