Hello team, I need assistance with my booking. I encountered an issue while trying to book a hotel. Due to my saved visa information, the amount was deducted directly, and then the booking got canceled. I didn't get a chance to check the details or the policy. Good evening, I booked a hotel in Barcelona from May 30 to June 2. Upon arrival at the address provided, there was no hotel with that name. The hotel is actually in Lloret del Mar, whereas I booked in Barcelona. I was alone and had to call the hotel, which informed me it was in Lloret del Mar. This is unacceptable on your part. The address I booked with was Carrer Aribau 3, Barcelona. I had to urgently find another hotel at 10 pm, which was very expensive. I request an immediate refund. Thank you.

My Details: Booking ID: [redacted]50 Booking Reference No: [redacted] Client: Thomas Stenzel Member ID: [redacted]85 Country of Residence: Germany Explanation: I conducted a hotel search in Zurich and selected the hotel in downtown Zurich, opting for the Hotel Storchen in Zurich, Weinplatz, as it is centrally located as described by you and has a good rating. I booked the hotel through your website and received a Booking Confirmation. Process: We drove to Zurich using GPS guidance, the provided address Weinplatz Zurich led us directly to the Hotel Storchen. We were looking forward to a great weekend in the city with lovely weather. The fiasco and drama began at the reception of the Hotel Storchen in Zurich. There was no reservation. After some back and forth, it was determined that the hotel booked for me by you was not in Zurich but in Schoenenwerd, about 50 km outside Zurich. The hotel used to be called Storchen, and there seems to have been a confusion on your part. The reception in Zurich stated, "this happens often, it is apparently known." The hotel in Schoenenwerd is now called B-scmarthotel. We did not have the option to find another hotel for that weekend and had to forgo our long-awaited weekend in Zurich, not to mention the disappointment of the "ruined weekend" due to your mistake, misleading description, and deception on your site. I kindly request your response to this very annoying form of booking, which is misleading and inaccurate on your site, as well as the possibility of a replacement weekend at the Hotel Storchen soon. Hello, I made a hotel reservation for three nights, but we left after the first night due to a bad experience. The room had stained bed sheets and ants in both the room and bathroom. I arrived at the hotel at the agreed time according to my reservation, but was informed that check-in was at 2 pm. After a brief encounter where the front desk staff rudely walked away, I tried to clarify my reservation as I had booked for Wednesday and Thursday nights, with a Friday check-out. Being early on Thursday at 4:30 am, I expected to be accommodated. However, I was also informed that pets were not allowed, which seemed like another excuse to deny us entry. The staff's behavior was extremely disrespectful. I was stranded at the hotel with my friend, our dog, luggage, and no transportation at that early hour in the cold. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford another hotel. This situation is completely unreasonable.

I have booked a stay at the Mediterranea hotel in Loano from June 2nd to 3rd under the name Michele Schiavone. Today, I called the hotel to confirm the reservation, but they said they have no record of it and are fully booked. They also mentioned they are no longer available on online travel platforms. I made the reservation through Tripadvisor, but via Agoda. The transaction of €[redacted].5 for the booking is showing on my card statement but hasn't been processed yet. Since I am booking this stay for a disabled person under my care at the residential community I work for, I need to understand this situation as soon as possible.

Deceptive Studio Rental Hello, 1. I booked a studio at "Vaci Street 17" because I found this street attractive. Deception regarding the address, the studio's location was incorrect (alley in a sketchy area, studio facing an inner courtyard, no blinds or blackout curtains, neighbors' view into the studio…) 2. No information on how things work. Only topics mentioned: check-out time and payment. 3. Lack of reception multiple times. 4. Appliances not working. Contacted the owner 3 times about the TV not working. First 2 times, promised to send a repairman. Third time, claimed to have sent someone but couldn't provide details on when. Had my phone number to set up an appointment. No one showed up. She hung up on me. I couldn’t read at night because with the light on, neighbors could see inside my studio. I also couldn't watch TV. I had to wander the streets until bedtime. 5. Unacceptable mattress and bed, just a foam pad on a particle board with numerous stains, disgusting. Mold in the shower. I have photos to prove this. As a result, my stay was severely affected by this major deceit. I am requesting a refund of half the price: [redacted] Euros as compensation before posting on social media and seeking help from the Ombudsman.

I made a booking at Sea Hill Hotel in Pattaya from June 14th to 21st through your platform. I received a booking confirmation with Number [redacted]87. However, I cannot find any record of this booking on my Agoda app, and the hotel has not responded to my messages. Please cancel this reservation with the hotel and ensure that my credit card is not charged. Best regards

I had a disturbing experience at The Kirketon Hotel. My name is Jimmy Valet, and I was assaulted by the manager, even though I'm pregnant. This happened after I complained about them not honoring our confirmed booking simply because we found a better rate on Agoda. I am shocked by the lack of professionalism. We are now left without a room, no refund, and our booking hasn't been canceled. It feels like we've been mistreated, assaulted, and left to deal with Agoda on our own. This situation goes against numerous policies and needs to be addressed seriously.

I had confirmed a reservation at La Flora Beverly Hills Resort in Kadakeri, Coorg, from the 1st to the 3rd of June and paid in advance. Upon reaching the destination, I couldn't locate the hotel. The locals mentioned there was no such hotel, and Google Maps couldn't find the address. The contact number provided proved to be incorrect after multiple attempts, belonging to a different resort. This caused significant inconvenience, disrupting my entire trip. It is disappointing that a reputable travel company would overlook such essential details. Kindly assist me in processing a refund promptly for this issue. My travel plans were completely disrupted. The hotel seems non-existent on the map, and the contact numbers provided are invalid. On June 3, [redacted], I booked a ticket from Udaipur to Delhi for June 7, [redacted], under the name Rishabh S. using PNR 48WNTN. Upon entering the OTP, I received an error message on my screen stating, "Sorry, we are unable to service your request." Subsequently, I had to make a new booking on a different platform and completed the payment. To my surprise, I later discovered that Agoda also charged Rs [redacted].75 to my account and issued a ticket. I kindly request a refund of Rs [redacted].75 for the duplicate booking.

I feel deceived by my recent rental experience. The studio's location was misleading, the TV was not functional despite multiple complaints going unanswered, there was no Internet on the first day, the mattress was unsanitary (I have photographic evidence), and there was mold in the shower (also documented). Additionally, the courtyard view provided no privacy. I attempted to complain to Agoda about the false information but was unable to access the online form due to continuous advertising interruptions.

I made a booking with Harbourville Hotel in [redacted], but due to the COVID-19 lockdown, I couldn't travel. The hotel assured me they would keep my booking open until I could travel. When I contacted them in [redacted] to honor my booking, they declined, mentioning they were a COVID quarantine center. They assured me they would honor it once allowed to. In a recent email, I was informed they no longer provide beds. I am concerned about the money I paid to Agoda for Booking ID #[redacted]13. Since the hotel cannot honor my booking, I would like a refund since the situation was beyond my control and the hotel had initially promised to honor it.

Hello, Two weeks ago, I started a booking that was never successful. After two days, I tried booking the same place again, only to find out it was no longer available. Therefore, I had to change my accommodation. Yesterday, I received an email asking me to evaluate my stay at the Water's Edge Hotel, a place where I never stayed at. I never received any booking confirmation, email, or phone call, yet they charged the full amount to my credit card.

On June 4, [redacted], I made a reservation, but I was surprised to see two bookings for the same dates (12.06 - 14.06.[redacted]) at Atismar in Quarteira, Portugal. When I contacted the hotel to cancel one, they mentioned only Agoda could assist. I canceled one booking on the site, but my money was still held, which seems unfair. I also mentioned the lack of notification from my bank. If a refund is challenging, could I please request an upgrade to a room with a sea view, including meals and airport transfer? I made a booking with Agoda last night for LSQ Moksh Villa in Lonavala. The transaction went through, and I received an email stating that the booking was pending until accepted by the villa owner. This morning, I discovered the booking was canceled due to a transaction error, even though my account was debited for the amount last night.

Hello, I am Miriam Schmidts. I made a reservation on March 19, [redacted], for Benoa Sea Suites and Villas in Bali, Indonesia, for July 28 - July 31, [redacted]. However, I have not received a confirmation email or a booking ID for this reservation. I noticed a charge of USD [redacted].86 on my VISA card from Agoda. Please confirm the booking and send me the necessary details. Furthermore, there appears to be a duplicate booking made on March 19, [redacted], which was paid via PayPal. I see a charge on my PayPal-linked card as well. Similar to the first booking, there is no confirmation email or booking ID for this reservation. Could you kindly cancel the duplicate booking? Hello, I am shocked. I spent the night on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. The Bellevue Hotel listed on your platform is a scam. There is no Avenue de Grasse in Nice. We spent 2 hours looking for the hotel, but the address doesn't exist. You can verify it on Google Maps; there is only Avenue Bellevue. Also, I haven't received any information from the hotel like other reservations. I checked, and there is no email or phone number available. Moreover, when searching online, I found the same hotel with the same address in Cannes but with a different postal code. By the time we realized this, all hotels were full, and our phones were off. It was a terrible evening. Thank you for putting us in this situation due to your mistake. Thank you.

I am grateful for this platform to address my concerns about my experience with AGODA. I am currently facing an ongoing issue with them regarding a booking I made for the Vouk Hotel in Penang. Upon receiving my invoice from AGODA, it clearly stated that my payment included the Malaysia Tourism Tax for my 3-night stay at Vouk Hotel. However, upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed by the manager, Mr. Gaya, that the tax was not included in the booking details and I would need to pay it separately. I had already paid a down-payment and Heritage Tax directly to the hotel. Despite showing the hotel my tax invoice from AGODA and booking voucher, which did not specify the Malaysia Tourism Tax separately, the issue remains unresolved. I have reached out to AGODA's customer service through email and online chat, but there has been no resolution yet even after two days. I brought up this matter while still at the Vouk Hotel.
