I recently returned to Malaysia from India. During my trip, I had booked two accommodations through Agoda. The first booking was for one night at OYO [redacted] Colourful Stay near the International Airport in Kolkata with Booking ID [redacted]69, and the second booking was for six nights at OYO [redacted] Hotel Aquarium in Bagdogra with Booking ID [redacted]89. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I found both locations to be substandard and not hotel-like at all, forcing me to find alternative accommodations. The customer service at the properties was unhelpful, and I was unable to reach a resolution on-site. This was my first negative experience with Agoda bookings, and I am now seeking a refund for the unacceptable conditions at these OYO-branded hotels in India. I hope to receive a response regarding this issue promptly.

I booked my stay at Hotel Gorbandh Palace in Jaisalmer, India via Agoda with Booking ID [redacted]08. I made the payment with my Visa Debit card for check-in on December 22nd and check out on December 24th, [redacted]. I received the payment receipt but haven't been able to confirm my booking with Agoda. I am seeking reassurance that my hotel reservation is indeed confirmed. Hello, I'm Claire Nagasan. I reserved a hotel stay at Reddoorz near Centrio in Cagayan de Oro City for Mr. Leo Kirby Nagasan from December 14th to 16th through Agoda. The booking ID is [redacted]52. Before cancelling, it was stated that a partial refund is possible. After cancelling, I noticed the confirmation email did not mention any refund, unlike another booking I made for Ms. Ivy Bandiala. Can you please explain why there is a difference?

Hello, I am Prakash. I made a reservation at Airport Inn for December 18th, [redacted] to December 19th, [redacted], with booking ID [redacted]41. However, when I arrived for check-in today, I was informed that my booking was not accepted because the hotel does not honor reservations from Agoda or Oyo. This was quite unexpected and caused me a great deal of inconvenience as I had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. Dear Sir, I made a reservation for a five-room deluxe accommodation with breakfast at The Residency Chennai from December 12th to 16th, [redacted] under the name Ravi Vasu. Upon arrival, I was informed that an additional 20,[redacted] Indian rupees were required as they charge per person rather than per room. Despite my concerns, the hotel staff hesitated to waive the fee and eventually reduced it to 11,[redacted] Indian rupees. This practice seems unjustified, as customers typically expect to be charged based on rooms, not individuals. I kindly request Agoda and The Residency Hotel to investigate this issue, as it reflects poorly on their professionalism. Due to my son's medical condition, we had to cancel our trip to Bangkok. I need a written confirmation of the cancellation and the refund amount of USD $[redacted].91. Despite attempting to contact the hotel directly, I was informed that they were uncertain about processing customer refunds. I kindly ask for your urgent assistance in resolving this matter. I made an error regarding the booking at Kanha Kiskindha Resort near Kanha National Park, Mandla district. I failed to cancel the reservation due to a sudden family bereavement. Upon our arrival, we discovered issues with our room. When returning late, we were dismayed to find no hot water. Additionally, there were cockroaches in the bedroom, sinks were blocked, and the beds were of poor quality. The stove had a peculiar setup making it unusable. Despite being aware of these problems, the management had not rectified them. We were relocated to another unit, but the transition cost us a significant amount of time. Unfortunately, the management is refusing to reimburse us for the first day's inconveniences. Can someone provide guidance on how to address this with the management? Thank you.

I made a booking for a 1-night stay at Crystal Inn, Batu Pahat, Johore on 14th Dec [redacted]. However, there seems to be a mistake as the date on the system shows 23rd Dec [redacted] instead of the intended 14th Dec. My booking ID is [redacted]33. I was charged RM127.09 by Agoda, but only realized the error upon arrival at the hotel. They suggested I reach out to rectify the situation as online bookings were no longer available for that night. Booking with Carolyn Biram, staying at Bohemia Resort Cairns from 14.12 to 19.12.[redacted], she requested an upgrade upon arrival due to a shared bathroom she was unaware of, costing an extra $[redacted] for five nights. I received a message regarding my recent booking with the Booking ID [redacted]40 at Homestay Saigon M1 for Dec 19 at 04:10 PM ICT. The message explained that due to changes in government policies regarding accommodation for foreigners, they need to cancel my booking. The host is temporarily closing the business until all necessary paperwork is completed. They requested that I reach out to Agoda using the contact information provided in my booking email for a full refund. The host expressed sincere apologies for the inconvenience and hopes to offer better service in the future.

Dear Agoda, On December 20th, my friend and I were supposed to have a room booking with a discount from your company. When we arrived at the hotel, our room was given to someone else, and we had to pay the original price without the discount. We checked in before 6:00 p.m. as instructed. I booked 2 rooms at New World Hotel-Makati, Philippines for December 31 following the usual procedure. However, after booking, I got an email from [redacted] with a payment reference and an unfamiliar alternative payment reference. I am now being instructed to pay at a BPI branch kiosk instead of using my credit card for the voucher. I believe I may have clicked on something by mistake. Dear Agoda Team, I am writing to inform you about an issue I encountered with my hotel booking. I had reserved two rooms at OYO [redacted] Hotel Comfort for December 10, [redacted] through Agoda.com. The room booking IDs are [redacted]01 and [redacted]05. I made the payment to Agoda and provided the receipt. However, upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that they did not receive any payment from Agoda/OYO and requested me to pay again. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this with Agoda and OYO, no satisfactory answer was provided, leading me to pay an additional amount of [redacted]/- Rs. at the hotel. Hello, I booked a room at Chenra Hotel in Kataragama from December 21st to December 22nd, [redacted]. Recently, I called the hotel to confirm my reservation.
