I have just returned home to Malaysia. I booked on * occasions for my trip to India: *. Booking ID ********* - OYO ***** Colourful Stay Near International Airport, Kolkata, India (* night - **-** Dec'**) and *. Booking ID ********* - OYO ***** Hotel Aquarium, Bagdogra, India (* nights - **-** Dec'**) and paid in advanced for my stay. I was shocked on both these occasions as they would not allow me to stay in their terrible "hotels". It does not even look like any resemblance of a hotel with no signboards etc but rather like a shack!!! I have to depart and find another hotel to stay in both cases. This OYO branded hotels at least in India are virtually unstayable nd horrible condition!!! In both cases I complained to customer service whilst there at the hotel but nothing could be done by the one managing it. In fact, they were reluctant to help me call customer service of OYO hotels!!! I was completely rejected from these * hotels and not allowed to stay in spite of the terrible condition!!!!! First time I experienced it in my life with Agoda bookings. I am now asking for the refund! Please reply in response to such blatant treatment by either OYO or Agoda as I was not sure who the one managing the hotel was talking to.

I contacted them by email at Customer Care and explained my situation. They answered but not satisfactorily. I wrote back again to explain clearer. They verified my story and finally agreed to give me a full refund. I have not received it yet but trust that they will honour their word.
