The issue in GetHuman-a_lin's own words
Booking no. ********* (credit card last * digits: ****) *We booked Eden Motel in Eden, NSW for * nights, ** & ** Dec. The address and photos given on your wedsite were actually a waterfront property in Queensland (** Vasey Esp, Trinity Beach) . I would not chose this motel if the correct photos were shown. *We arrived the motel at *pm and were totally shocked. There was no one at the reception and we picked up the key from a mail box. The room smelled bad. There were hair, dust and dirt on the bedsheet. We reported to the reception immediately the next morning and they said it was Agoda's responsibility who put the wrong info on their website. Our credit cards was charged before our arrival and they refused to give us any refund. *What you have done is even worse than Trivago, which prioritised advertisers who were willing to pay the highest cost per click fee to Trivago. Customers at least still stay in the accomodation that they booked in those cases, even they paid more. We stayed in a motel for Christmas which was nowhere close to the information given. *According to the Australian Consumer Law, we are entitled to a refund* compensation because the description of the product was not correct. *Please reply before I contact ACCC to file a complaint.
