cancel a booking ... I was searching for accommodation in Vancouver and tentatively booked the Patricia Budget Inn. I did not receive a booking confirmation by text phone or email. I had looked at so many different bookings I could not remember who the agency was however expected an email or confirmation that my booking was tentatively made. I did not receive this and only realised it was Agoda when my bank statement was available. I signed in to Agoda and it does not show any booking at all. It states there are no current bookings. I wanted to cancel and contacted the hotel directly in lieu of no details*confirmation to cancel. The hotel directed me to Tourico agency and they directed me to Rocket, another agency that was in the UK who I phoned to find that it is now a taxi company! I have tried to cancel this before the cut off date, have several email communications to show this and now notice as of ******* that I have been charged $*,***.** for a booking I will not be using. Emailed the hotel direct.*Emailed Tourico who was nominated on the booking at the hotel as the agency.*They referred me to Rocket.*Emailed Rocket and telephoned them in England. It is now a taxi company.*Saw Agoda on bank statement and tried to ring.*As I don't have a booking I.D the call was terminated.
