Good morning,** **I’ll start by stating that according to you “You have been a valued Aeroplan Member since September **, ****”, which hopefully means as much to you as it does to me. I’d appreciate a genuine effort on your parts to help me out. It hasn’t always been perfect, but given I’m still with you tells me that you provide a quality service. Something I greatly appreciate. I don’t travel as much as I used to, but when I do it’s somehow linked to Aeroplan. My name is Mark De Luca and my account number is ***-***-***.** **My problem is as follows. I have been following your promotions closely and was certainly intrigued by the ** days of gifting. Especially given I was looking to purchase my wife a new iPhone for Christmas and Apple was one of the participating vendors. Herein lies the problem. I tried mightily on December *th, **** to make the online purchase in order to receive the **X the miles benefit. I tried from work, home laptop and my mobile device to no avail. I could not get through to Aeroplan support and Apple, was of little help as they did not seem to even know what I was talking about when quoting the ** days of gifting promotion. December *th, **** came to an end before I could do anything.** **I tried calling Aeroplan sporadically, but often on December *th, & *th, ****. Once again, to no avail. So, I gave up. On December *th, **** I went onto the Apple website, and made the purchase of an iPhone ** for my wife. Detailed proof available, for now this is a clip of my credit card statement as proof:**Dec *, **********PETROCAN-**** FALLOWFIELDNEPEAN ON****$**.******APPLE.COM*CA ***-***-**** ON****$*,***.****** **I let it go until now, but I am still troubled by the loss of the opportunity to get **K bonus Aeroplan miles. So today, I reach out to you for support and assistance. I am asking you to please credit my account the **,*** bonus miles I so desperately tried to obtain on December *th, ****. Points I would have received had there been no issues. Given my efforts to try and make the purchase & try and contact Aeroplan I do not feel as though my request is unreasonable. I am happy to present whatever proof of purchase you require. At risk of being too self serving, I believe ** plus years of loyalty deserves to be rewarded. Especially given my inability to reach anyone at Aeroplan over the phone.** **Thank you,
