Today, I received an email from Tania Fraga, an analyst from the program compliance & fraud department, indicating suspicious activity on my Aeroplan account dated December 3rd, [redacted]. The email assures that steps have been taken to secure my account. I attempted to contact Aeroplan Customer Service at the numbers provided, but I only reached an Air Canada recording without any option to speak with a representative. I am seeking assistance to stop the influx of emails and safeguard my Aeroplan account. If possible, could you please liaise with the fraud department and have them reach out to me promptly on my cell phone at [redacted]? Thank you.

I need to address a serious issue I've been experiencing with Aeroplan. I have been unable to reach a customer service representative despite numerous attempts. Jean-Francois Loignon, the Montreal Director of the Contact Centre, has not been reachable due to high call volume. This has been causing me a great deal of stress. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

I, Albert N., hold an Aeroplan account with approximately [redacted],[redacted] miles. I am frustrated that I cannot speak to a representative when calling 1-[redacted]. The recorded message from Jean-François L. only informs me that due to high call volumes, I cannot be put on hold. This situation is causing me stress, and I am unsure if it is related to the Aimia - Air Canada transition. Mr. L. mentions he is the Director of the worldwide contact center and explains that the new Air Canada system limits the ability to place callers on hold. I am looking to book a round trip ticket from Toronto to Vancouver for 4 days. I have been experiencing difficulties booking online due to the long flight durations with stops. When I tried calling, I couldn't reach a representative and was directed to book online, which is challenging for me due to my Macular Degeneration. I was able to confirm seat availability on non-stop flights with Air Canada, but unfortunately, they couldn't assist Aeroplan clients. The lack of support and transparency between Air Canada and Aeroplan is disappointing. Customers signing up for Aeroplan should be informed of all restrictions and limitations upfront.

I have been attempting to cancel my Aeroplan flight for two days now. Unfortunately, the cancel feature on the website is not functioning properly. Every time I try to cancel, it leads me to a page not found alert. When I attempted to contact the call center, a message from the director of Aeroplan's call centers played, explaining they are currently experiencing higher call volumes and cannot keep me on hold. This results in an automatic hang-up, making it impossible to reach Aeroplan for assistance. After a lengthy one hour and a half hold with Air Canada, I was informed that they could not assist me since Aeroplan is a separate entity. How can I cancel my flight and book another flight through Aeroplan under these circumstances?

I've been attempting to reach out to Aeroplan for the last two weeks without any success. In March [redacted], my husband (W.K.) and I had to cancel our flights from Comox to Vegas due to medical reasons. While we were reimbursed with our points, there was a portion of the funds that were nonrefundable. I have insurance that can help me recover this amount if I can obtain an email from Aeroplan specifying the value. The booking reference for the cancelled flights is KRXQMI. Additionally, I'm looking for a contact number to directly speak with someone from Aeroplan for future bookings.

I am frustrated by the inability to speak with a live representative when contacting 1-[redacted]. Dear Aeroplan,
I am writing about Booking Reference L8CMVE. During my recent trip to South America, I needed to make changes to my Aeroplan Reward flights. On November 19th, I called your customer service but was unable to reach anyone due to ongoing computer system changes. Despite multiple attempts, I couldn't get through to Aeroplan, even after my return to Canada on December 3rd.
I followed the instructions to make changes online, but due to system upgrades, I couldn't modify my booking. Even after seeking help at Buenos Aires airport, I couldn't reach anyone to cancel my flights. Frustrated, I booked new flights online with Aeroplan and Opodo. Despite continuous efforts, I couldn't cancel the unwanted flights.
I finally spoke to Patrick from Air Canada on November 26th, who informed me that only Aeroplan could assist with the changes. My subsequent attempts to contact Aeroplan went unanswered. I'm disappointed by the wasted time and the impact on my trip. I request a refund of miles and taxes for the unused flights. I hope for a resolution soon.

When I tried to update my profile as instructed, I encountered an issue with using our shared email address. My husband was able to update his details, but I was denied the same ability. I do not have an alternative email and do not wish to create one just for Aeroplan. How can I successfully update my profile and ensure my miles are connected to my existing email address?

I recently had an issue with the ticketing agent who mistakenly input my husband's aeroplan number instead of mine on my boarding passes. As a result, it appeared that my husband received the aeroplan points instead of me. Unfortunately, my aeroplan number was not included on any of the boarding passes, so I did not receive the points I was entitled to. This mix-up meant that only one of us received aeroplan points for the flight, even though both of us were traveling.

Hello, my Aeroplan number is [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]. I recently joined and have been earning points, but some of my flights are not reflecting on my account. Even though my Aeroplan number is registered with Air Canada, I am not receiving the points. Here are the details of the missing points:
1. Trip from Montreal to Comox in the last week of November; Booking Reference: ROBAYC
- Points received for the return trip, but not for the trip to Comox
2. Currently in the UK; Booking Reference: MIPP5E
- No points showing for this trip
3. Trip to Cuba without providing Aeroplan number during booking (Transat Booking [redacted]2)
- Requesting to ensure points for this trip are credited

I have a flight booked from Calgary to Charlottetown with booking reference L3RX2E. Recently, I received an email about a change in my flight schedule. Now, I arrive in Montreal at 7:13 am and have an 11-hour layover before my next flight. Additionally, the flight arrangements for others in my group have also been modified by Air Canada with a route from Calgary to Toronto and then on to Charlottetown. The flight is scheduled for January 21, [redacted]. I've been attempting to contact Aeroplan for assistance, but unfortunately, have been unable to speak to a representative after multiple attempts. This situation has been quite frustrating for me.

Hello, I received an email from Air Canada regarding a revision to our itinerary. Our reference number is UNQKGQ. According to the email, we are set to depart from Lethbridge (YQL) on Jan 14, [redacted], at 7:00 and arrive in Calgary (YYC) at 7:58. However, the email does not specify the return flight from Calgary to Vancouver (YVR). We urgently need this information to adjust our work schedule. However, I consistently receive a message stating that all operators are currently busy assisting other customers and I cannot leave a message or request a callback. This level of service is disappointing for a loyal customer like myself.

For Aeroplan customers struggling to connect with an agent, visit the Aeroplan Twitter page to send a private message. After numerous unsuccessful phone attempts, I messaged them on Twitter and received a response within 24 hours. An agent reviewed my concerns, including flight details and itinerary changes I needed, after sharing my contact information, including my mobile number. Good luck to others facing similar issues.

I am having trouble redeeming my miles. Every time I try, I receive a "Miles Redemption Failure" message. I have been calling for several days, but the call center is always too busy to take my call and I can't wait in line. Finally, when I reached AirCanada, they were unable to assist me and claimed they had no idea what was wrong.
I would appreciate it if Aeroplan could address the issues with the online redemption system or improve their phone customer service to resolve my problem.
