i recently purchased an acer aspire * laptop, and until now it has been functioning fine, but today am unable to access wifi at all. looking at settings, then going to network and internet, it has the following categories:*Ethernet*VPN*Mobile hotspot*Airplane mode*Proxy*Dial-up*Advanced network settings**after running the troubleshooter, it just says *"Plug an Ethernet cable into this computer"**this has never come up before, i didn't have this before and it functioned fine until today. nothing is different than when it was working yesterday. if i search in settings or control panel nothing involving WiFi connection is there, those settings just aren't there. I don't know how to go about this, it's using windows ** if that impacts the layout of settings in some way? **I've never had it plugged into an Ethernet cable, and I'm just really confused? **thank you, and sorry to bother you.
