To connect external speakers to an Acer Aspire 5, follow these steps: 1. Identify the audio-out port on your laptop, typically marked with a headphone icon. 2. Connect one end of your speaker's audio cable into this port. 3. Connect the other end of the cable to your speakers. 4. Turn on your speakers and adjust the volume accordingly. 5. Now, your laptop should automatically detect the speakers. If not, navigate to the control panel, click on "Hardware and Sound," and under "Sound," set your speakers as the default audio output device.
