My camera suddenly stopped working, and after contacting Microsoft support, I was advised to uninstall the driver. However, the chat ended abruptly, and I was told to reach out to the manufacturer for further assistance. The camera issue started with an error message 0xA00F42, indicating the camera couldn't be found. I suspect I may have accidentally deleted an app on my laptop, which led to this problem. Upon troubleshooting video playback, I was prompted to install HEVC, although I only have AV1 on my laptop. In Device Manager, my camera appeared as a hidden device, and following the advice from Microsoft, I uninstalled it. Now, I am unable to reinstall it. Need help with this issue, please.

My Chromebook is no longer covered by warranty, so I've been directed to a third-party service for assistance for the past three days. After discussing with a representative, I agreed to pay $99.00 for a year of support to get my Chromebook fixed. However, after the payment was made, I was put on hold for two hours listening to music before the call got disconnected. I'm frustrated by this experience. My Chromebook is running slow, and I urgently need help to speed it up. Can someone offer assistance?

Hello, I purchased an Acer Nitro 5 AN517-54-79L1 Gaming Laptop in November [redacted]. The computer is excellent, but I have encountered an issue with the RED backlit keyboard. The advertising was misleading, and I now have a $[redacted] device that I struggle to use due to the harsh backlight causing eye strain. Unfortunately, Acer does not offer a plain keyboard replacement without the red backlighting. I'm considering selling it despite Acer's competitive pricing because of this inconvenience and lack of a solution.

I bought my Acer [CB15] laptop from Walmart on 1-22. The serial number for the product is NXATDAA[redacted]F7611. On May 28th, [redacted], while typing a book review, my Acer suddenly shut down with no power restoration despite the battery being above 85% and not charging. I attempted to recharge it for three days without the battery light turning on. Consequently, I resorted to using my old laptop. After an unpleasant 22-minute wait at Walmart's customer service line, where I received no assistance due to exceeding the 15-day return policy, I am seeking empathy and hoping Acer may replace my malfunctioning Chromebook if I return it. Can Acer provide a replacement if I send it back?

Hello, I recently bought an Acer Nitro series Q240Y monitor and updated the Acer monitor drivers via Windows to achieve a refresh rate of 144Hz. However, the issue is that once I unplug the Windows laptop with the updated driver, the monitor reverts back to its previous refresh rate limit of 120Hz. When the laptop is plugged in, it displays HDMI:144Hz, but once unplugged, it immediately changes from HDMI:144Hz to HDMI:120Hz on the monitor menu system information. I would appreciate guidance on how to resolve this issue. Should I save the built-in monitor settings to a preset to maintain the new refresh rate? Kind regards, Customer.

I am experiencing performance issues with my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57 laptop, which has an Intel i9-11900H processor and an RTX [redacted] 95W GPU. I have a 1TB SSD NVMe and 16GB of RAM (2x8). Previously, when gaming, I would consistently achieve over [redacted] FPS with fast and efficient fan performance. Recently, my FPS has dropped to below [redacted], and despite having the latest drivers and no available BIOS updates, the issue persists. This seems to be a problem specifically affecting Intel users, as opposed to AMD users. I play games while plugged in, and I seek a solution to this problem. If there is a known fix for performance issues on Acer laptops, I would appreciate any guidance as I have found Acer's support to be inadequate.

On June 19, [redacted], I bought an Acer notebook from Pindoduo. The fan started acting strange on August 20, so I sent it to the Acer after-sales service station on August 23. Despite me facing charging issues on September 6, the Jiujiang after-sales service did not respond promptly. I then reached out to the Acer service in Nanchang after moving there for university. Unfortunately, even after multiple main board replacements and factory repairs in Nanchang, the laptop continued to have problems. I later had to pay [redacted] yuan for repairs at the Jiujiang service station, only for the computer to crash again. Despite being in repair from August 26 to September 23, the issues persist, causing disruptions to my studies as a computer major. The service station staff refused replacement under China's three-guarantee law, claiming it's not within the warranty period. This has been a time-consuming and troublesome process, impacting my academic progress and rights as a customer.
