Beware of DirecTV Tech and QM’s who promises you a no contract upgrade as they are lying. Almost impossible to talk to customer support to explain this and basically you are guilty until they take their sweet time (if ever) to find your call. Unbelievable lousy service. I had been with DirecTV since **** I saw an offer for a free upgrade* so I upgraded to mini genie. I asked both the tech and QM if this was a new contract. I was informed no because I had been loyal customer since ****. how I failed on some hard time being a disable veteran and had to cancel DirecTV. when I got the finale bill they charge me *** dollars early termination fee: than when I call them I was told there was nothing they could do. I told I was lied to by the tech and the QM I was told I was just singing for the new equipment not a new complete contract completely mislead: This is very bad business practice. I would like to believe that there are still honest people in the big business work place when a person looks me in the eye and tell me will not have to do something or even do something I would like to believe they are being honest with me a child of God I will not judge but I will question if I feel I have been wronged:
